Annual Shipshewana Trip
FEMA Ministry Day Trip to Shipshewana, Indiana

The FEMA Ministry is planning a special day trip to Shipshewana, Indiana, home of the legendary Shipshewana Flea Market and a charming variety of shops, eats, and experiences. Whether you’re on the hunt for unique finds or just want a relaxing day out with good people, this is your invitation to join us!
Trip Cost: $90 per person
Includes:
✔️ Roundtrip deluxe motorcoach transportation
✔️ On-coach snacks & games
✔️ A day of fun, shopping, and fellowship
All participants must sign a Waiver of Liability before traveling.
Payment Schedule:
• $55 non-refundable deposit due by July 6, 2025
• $35 balance due by August 6, 2025
Deposits are non-refundable, but substitutions are allowed if you can no longer attend.
Preliminary Itinerary – September 10, 2025
- 5:00 AM – Check-in begins at 6340 Stearns St., Detroit, MI
- 5:30 AM – FEMA Ministry team boards to prepare
- 5:45 AM – Travelers board motorcoach
- 5:55 AM – Welcome, prayer, and driver remarks
- 6:00 AM – Depart for Shipshewana
- 10:00 AM – Arrive at Shipshewana Flea Market
- 10:15 AM–3:30 PM – Explore, shop, eat, and enjoy
- 3:45 PM – Load up for return
- 4:00 PM – Depart Shipshewana
- 7:00 PM – Return to St. Charles Lwanga Church parking lot
