DESCRIPTION:This exciting one-day “OUTDOOR” event is for the entire family celebrating “FREEDOM” in the expression of books\, music\, art & spoken word. \nSpectators will shop over 40 Exhibitors — a fierce group of talented ‘neighborhood’ indie book authors\, artists and artisans i.e. books\, paintings\, music\, drawings\, ceramics\, clothing\, candles\, soaps\, skincare\, jewelry\, plants\, houseware and more! \nLIVE Storytelling:  Celebrated storytellers and spoken-word artists will share folktales from Africa and the African Diaspora that focus on Juneteenth ~ Intellectual Literacy = Freedom! Authors and attendees are invited to share their stories starting at 1:30pm. \nLIVE Music & Youth Marching Band: Enjoy old-school\, nostalgic music by DJ Holly and an enchanting afternoon with Inkster’s American International Academy – District Youth String Ensemble\, Hand Chime Choir and Marching Band! \nKIDZONE:  Juneteenth storytelling\, face-painting\, bookmarks\, silicone wristbands and FUN coloring activity.
