Ideas become more meaningful when we make something of them.
WOODSY projects bring together creativity, storytelling, community, and the moments that matter. Some invite you to explore. Others give you room to develop your voice, connect with people, or celebrate a new chapter.
Each reflects a different part of the same belief: we can bring more curiosity, connection, and intention into everyday life.
Explore what’s happening—and find something that speaks to you.
Click, Create, and Share Photo Group
A different perspective starts with looking closer.
There’s something worth noticing everywhere: a familiar street, an unexpected detail, a passing moment, or a place you’ve never explored.
Click, Create, and Share brings together an interest in photography and the experience of exploring Michigan. It’s a space to enjoy the photography journey, discover different perspectives, and connect through the images we make.
Visit the group on Instagram to see what’s been captured and follow along.
The WOODSY “”Journalism Project
Your voice belongs in the story.
A neighborhood changing around you. A family memory worth preserving. A question you can’t stop asking. The beginning of a story may be closer than you think.
The WOODSY “” Journalism Project is a Detroit-based community storytelling and media initiative that invites people to document their experiences, develop their writing, and create with others.
You don’t need a published byline or a finished draft to express interest. Whether you’re just beginning, returning to writing, or developing an established practice, there’s room to explore your voice and strengthen your craft.
Visit the project to learn about its approach, try a writing prompt, and share what you’d like to learn or create.
Marry Me by WOODSY
Your love. Your words. Your moment.
Meaningful ceremonies begin with the people making the promises.
Through Marry Me, I offer wedding ceremonies and celebrations shaped around your relationship, your values, and the life you’re building together.
From a simple “I do” to a personalized wedding ceremony or vow renewal, the approach begins with listening. Couples of every race, gender, sexual orientation, faith tradition, and background are welcome.
Explore the ceremony options, meet your minister—Rev. Dr. Robert D. Alexander-Jordan—and send an inquiry about your plans.
Services are by appointment. Availability, pricing, and arrangements are confirmed after reviewing your request.
Two More Projects Are Taking Shape
There’s more on the way.
Two new WOODSY projects are in development. I’m giving each the time and attention it needs before sharing the full details.

Let’s Make Something Happen
Have an idea, a question, or a possible collaboration?
Maybe one of these projects connects with something you care about. Maybe you have a skill to share or a different possibility in mind.
Tell me what you’re thinking. I’d love to hear how we might create something together.
