Stories worth writing. Books worth bringing into the world.
WOODSY’s publishing work takes two paths: Hazelwood Press, the home for my own writing, and Master Mind Media Press, where I collaborate with other authors to help bring their dream works toward release.
Both begin with respect for the creative work—and for the person who has something to say.
Hazelwood Press
My words. A home of their own.
Hazelwood Press is the publishing home for my writing as Robert D. Alexander-Jordan.
Writing gives me room to follow a question, imagine a different world, and spend time with stories that ask to be told. Hazelwood Press gives that work a place to grow, take shape, and reach readers.
Here, the focus is personal: the stories I choose to write, the ideas I want to explore, and the body of work I’m building over time.
Meet the Author
I’m Dr. Bob—an educator, creative entrepreneur, and the author of the debut novel BEDLAM. Storytelling is one of the ways I make sense of the world and imagine what else might be possible.
Master Mind Media Press
Your dream work deserves a thoughtful next step.
Some authors have a manuscript ready to share. Others have been carrying a book idea for years and are beginning to see how it might become real.
Master Mind Media Press is where I collaborate with other authors to explore the path between the work they imagine and the work they hope to release.
The starting point is your vision: what you’re creating, why it matters to you, and what you want readers to experience. From there, we can discuss the project’s stage, what support may be needed, and whether working together makes sense.
Keep Your Voice at the Center
A publishing collaboration should help an author make informed decisions about their work.
Before moving forward, we’ll discuss the proposed scope, responsibilities, timeline, costs, credit, rights, and release arrangements. The goal is a shared understanding of what we’re working toward and what each of us is agreeing to do.
An initial conversation is an opportunity to explore the fit. It does not commit either party to publication.
Tell Me About Your Book
You don’t need a polished pitch to introduce your project. Start with:
- The work: What are you writing, and what is it about?
- The reader: Who do you imagine connecting with it?
- The stage: Is it an idea, an outline, a work in progress, or a completed manuscript?
- The goal: What would releasing this book mean to you?
- The collaboration: What are you hoping we might accomplish together?
Please send a short overview first. If a manuscript or sample would help us assess the next step, we can discuss how to share it.

From an Idea to a Work You Can Share
A book can begin with a memory, a question, an imagined world, or something you’ve been meaning to say.
Hazelwood Press is where I pursue those possibilities in my own writing. Master Mind Media Press is where I explore them in collaboration with other authors.
There’s care, intention, and work ahead. Let’s begin with the story.
Live. Creatively. WHOOT!
